Wednesday 21st January 2015 - SPIRIT OF SPORT CENTRE

Unfortunately due to the weather, the competition was postponed. The new date for the event will be confirmed soon.

The children attending the Change4life Club are taking part in lots of FUN activities, focussed on making healthy life choices.

Last week, the children used a range of fruits to create their own WEETABUDDY! A super healthy-super tasty breakfast snack. The children really enjoyed learning about Sugar Swops.........

.....but most of all they enjoyed eating their delicious snacks. Take a  look at some of their creations, then why not have a go yourself!

Information for Parents

To find out more information about healthy life choices, including Sugar Swapping, take a look at the Change4Life website or follow the link below.

This week the children had great fun creating healthy desserts! They used a selection of delicious healthy ingredients such as: reduced sugar jelly; low fat yogurts, raisins, sultanas, apricots and lots more..........YUMMY!!

Green for Go!!

This week the children have been learning about the sugar content in our food. During the session they went outside on a treasure hunt in  search of traffic light food signs which represented foods with different sugar levels. Red signs highlighted foods with high sugar content whereas green signs represented foods with low sugar content.
