St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Primary School Love One Another

January 2015

I hope you all had a snailtastic Christmas and New Year.  I had a great time at Mr and Mrs Carlile's house with Bertie and Fidget.  We had lots of midnight feasts when everyone else was fast asleep!  I always chose the lettuce, or cucumber.

Santa remembered where I was and came to visit me.  I got a brand new Turbo Book and a selection box of cucumber in different shapes! Bertie helped me eat that as he likes cucumber too!  He must be a fluffy snail!

I hope Santa brought you everything you dreamed of.

This half term, we welcome Miss Bryan to Year 2.  Miss Bryan is a familiar face to our school as she taught in our Reception Class last year.  It is always nice to see a new face in Year 2, even though I love the old faces too!  She is teaching the children about China and Chinese food.  I am really good at using chopsticks to pick up my cucumber and lettuce.  It takes great skill!  Can you use chopsticks?
