Mrs Miskell teaches Music on Monday afternooons
Things to know:
- PE is Tuesday and Thursday
- Please bring reading books every day
- Homework will be sent out each Friday to be returned on Thursday
- Spellings, closely linked to Phonics will be sent each Friday and tested the following Friday
- Don't forget water bottles every day (no juice in these please)

In History we are learning about what Toys were like in the Past. Please tell us about your favourite childhood toys and send us photos of any toys you still have.
RE- we are learning about Jesus’ life and his journey as a boy to manhood. He met Simeon and Anna at his Presentation in the Temple. We reflected how we could bring light into other people’s lives like Jesus did.
Inspired by the Lost and Found story, we have been writing captions, lists, character profiles and setting descriptions. We are making sure we leave finger spaces, use capital letters correctly and full stops and use adventurous vocabulary.
January 2026: The children are learning about life and climates in The Polar Regions. Here is the Art Collage work they have produced. Isn’t it fantastic?

Happy New Year! Today we went to mass the Celebrate the Epiphany and the visit of The Three Kings to the Stable.
