This year we will be expanding our creative minds and producing fantastic pieces of writing.
Please see below our English journey.
Autumn Term 1
Our first class book is Beowulf by Michael Morpurgo.
We became character witnesses from the battle of Beowulf and Grendel. We took the opportunity to become Beowulf, King Hrothgar and the Thanes. In our groups we took turns asking each other key questions and responding as though we were the characters. We thoroughly enjoyed 'hot seating' one another and using our creative skills.
