Forest School October 2025
During October we had the opportunity to experience 3 sessions with Hedgehog Forest School.
We love our sessions and enjoy learning new skills and exploring outdoors.
Session 3
During our final session we spent the time playing Forest school games as well as learning how to carefully create a source of light in the wilderness. We all took part in this activity and used a flint to create a spark. We learnt that we should persevere and never give up. We all worked as a team and encouraged one another to keep on going.
We ended our final session with a smore, they were delicious!

Session 2
During our second session we spent time singing another of our favourite songs and creating spaceships. We all took part in small groups to created a rocket that we could send into space, we looked at recycled materials and how we could use these to make our rockets fly! We loved this experience.
Session 1
During our first sessions, we sang our favourite forest school songs, completed several games of 21 seconds (a wonderful chance to play hide and seek in our forest school grounds) and we searched high and low for our solar system planets.
