Year 6

Welcome to Year 6!

Using the Gospel values as our guide, Year 6 journey through an exciting last year at primary school with a wonderful teaching team: Mrs Baird (Deputy Head), Mrs Jones (Class Teacher), Miss Earnshaw, Ms McBreen and Mrs Coan (Teaching Assistants), Mr Kelly (PE Teacher) and Mrs Miskell (French Teacher).

Seeds and Gardners

The most important and exciting event at the start of Year 6 is when our gardeners meet their seeds for the first time. After a busy and joyful afternoon playing in EYFS, they had their photos taken. 

Borwick Hall 2022

Year 6 have enjoyed a FANTASTIC fun-filled weekend at the amazing Borwick Hall outdoor activity centre. All the children behaved wonderfully and were able to enjoy all of the activities in perfect weather conditions. Everyone has returned safe and sound. Thank you to all parents and carers for your support in preparation for this trip and thanks to all the school staff who gave their weekend to support these fabulous children. ISOLATION WORK

If you are at home isolating for 10 days because you have tested positive for COVID and been asked to isolate, please click on the the subjects below to find your work. 

This work should only be done if you feel well enough. 

1 Maths lesson, START AT LESSON 1

1 English lesson  

1 other lesson of your choice.

You can do your work in your homework books that you have at home.

Please also read every day, practise your times tables on TTRS and complete your homework as normal. 

This work will compliment but not clash with the work we are doing in class. If you need to isolate more than once you can just continue from where you left off.
