Evacuation Day

As part of our World War II learning, Year 6 children enjoyed an Evacuation Day. We had a 1940s style school day which included: meeting the Billeting Officer, a lesson about the Spitfire, first aid practice, shelter building and garden work. Thank you to all parents who helped preparing outfits and for baking using the War Time Cookery Book. We thoroughly enjoyed our themed day!
