Hello Year 4, there are two tasks I would like you to complete for French today.
Task 1 - Write a letter in French to Father Christmas. Below is a PowerPoint with all the instructions you need to write your letter to Santa. There is an example of my letter, and help with the vocabulary you will need. There is a letter template to use if you have a printer, but don't worry if you cannot print this off, just write on a plain piece of paper and add some decoration yourself! I'd love to see some pictures of your work if you can - post them on my blog post or email them to Mr Steele.
Task 2 - I'd like you to complete some research about how the French celebrate the 6th January - Épiphanie, in particular I would like you to find out about the Gallette de Rois cake. Please reply to my blog post with your findings, and we will find out more in class next week!
Merci la classe! Mrs Miskell
