Our dinosaur 'bone' pictures. Don't they look fantastic?
Yes...it's only February but we are already thinking about next Christmas. These are our entries for the Royal Mail Christmas Stamp competition 2017
ANGEL OF THE NORTH
We have been looking at the work of Sculptor, Antony Gormley. We looked at some photos of his his sculptures on Crosby Beach. We then looked at his most famous work, The Angel of the North. This public sculpture can be found just off the A1 in the Team Valley around Durham/Gateshead.
We went onto the school yard to measure to see if the Angel would fit in our school yard. The answer is YES. Just! The height of the Angel is 20m and the wing span is a huge 54m!
