Maths:

LO: To add money.
This week we are going to continue looking at money in Maths. Today’s lesson is on the video below. Watch it carefully, pausing it to work out the questions and then work your way through the worksheet I have attached below.

Add money

English:

LO: To understand the features of adverts.

This week in English, we are going to be linking our work to our Science. I wonder if you can spot the link this week!

To start our lesson, you need to follow the link below and then watch the video. You will be looking at the features of an advert as we are going to be working towards writing a persuasive text.

If the teacher asks you to pause the video and do a task in your books, make sure you pause it. Listen carefully to the teacher and then send me a picture of your work on my email. Enjoy!

RE:
LO: To explore the Liturgical Year and Colours.

Today in RE, we are going to look at the Liturgical Calendar throughout the year. This is the Church’s calendar. Below, I have attached a picture of the liturgical calendar, it is a circle shape and shows the different parts of the year. Watch the video below to see the different parts of the year and what they represent. Sorry about the American accent! I would then like you to have a look at the power point below which shows you the different parts of the year and the colours that are associated with that time.

Once you have done that, I would like you to look at the blank liturgical calendar I have attached at the bottom. I want you to either print this out or draw it in your book and then fill it in with the right colours and labels. Remember there is the one at the top to look at it you are struggling.
