St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Primary School Love One Another

Monday 22nd June

Good morning Year 6!

I hope you all had a restful weekend and are ready to get back to work today. Online lessons will continue just as they have done for the past 10 weeks. Please complete all tasks and blog or email your work as you would normally. Group A children will be welcomed back to school today and complete their work in school. I am sure wherever we are, we will work hard and have a great day! Let's see what Monday's lessons are...

Below are your tasks for today. Remember if you need to ask any questions go to the class blog and add a comment to 22-6-20 TODAY'S WORK. Keep checking the comments on this BLOG because that is where we will post our replies to you.

Start the week by tuning in to a Monday morning assembly. Click on the link below to listen and enjoy.

PE this week will be different. Mr Steele has asked us to pass on a message to you. You are in training for the virtual Lancashire Schools' Sports Festival next week which everyone including teachers, pupils, families and carers can take part in. MATHS L.O Mixed Reasoning Questions

Every Monday you will have a choice of two activities plus a TTRS BATTLE.

Do the next test out of your MATHS BOOK 1 SAT BUSTER 10-Minute Tests. Set C Test 1 pg 39-41. Ask someone to mark it for you, the answers are in the back of the book. Please send me a BLOG telling me how many you got right out of 10.

OPTION 2 – These are a little harder but give them a go.

If you are finding the 10min tests too easy then you could do this activity as well. There is a PDF with 10 advanced questions (click below) Answers are also included. Once you have finished ask someone to mark it for you and send me a BLOG telling me how many you got right out of 10.

Here is an interactive maths games called Guardians: Defenders of Mathematica by BBC Bitesize. Click on the link below to play it.

If you are learning at home, there are links to an audio version of this book. The first one you can see below.

Go to the English folder on the Year 6 website page to find information and instructions for today's two tasks.
