Year 1

Welcome to Year 1!

A year of lots of learning and adventures.

Class Teacher: Miss Armstrong

Teaching Assistant: Mrs Glynn

Miss Armstrong will greet you at the blue school gates every morning and Mrs Glynn will be in your classroom waiting to see your smiley faces.

PE Days are a Tuesday and a Thursday.

Mr Kelly will be teaching you PE on a

Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs Clough will also be teaching you on a

Wednesday and Thursday morning.

(Please remember to label all of your PE Kits, these will be kept in school all the time. We will send your PE kits home at the end of each term for washing and size checking.)

Isolation Information

Year One have had an amazing treat this week an Author called Jude Lennon joined us via zoom. Jude discussed how she became an author, the importance of reading and she read two of her stories. We were very lucky and enjoyed this experience very much!

Above are a selection of the stories that Jude has written, these are available for purchase throughout school. Last payments are to be collected on Monday 24th May 2021 to ensure we meet the order time. Please fill in the forms your child has come home with.
