English Homework

There are TWO parts to your ENGLISH homework. They should both be completed by Friday 27th November.

PART ONE

Learn your 10 spellings at home for a test next Friday.

You have a GREEN English Homework Book to use if you wish to copy out your spellings to help you learn them. You could ask a family member to test you and use this book to write down the words. Keep this GREEN book at home. Do not bring it back to school. It is to help you learn at home.

PART 2

This week, I would like you to complete a grammar task on Education City. Use your password to log in to this site and click on Friday 20th November work. There you will find 2 activities to complete. The first task is to find synonyms: words with SIMILAR meanings. The second task is to find antonyms: words with OPPOSITE meanings. You could use an online thesaurus to help you. I will see your results on the Education City website but no-one else will. Good luck!
