Happy Friday everybody!
WOW! Yesterday seemed EVEN HOTTER than Wednesday! I hope you are all keeping hydrated and putting on sun tan cream if you are going outside. Today, there may be a thunder storm which will be welcome after the intense heat. There was lots of great blogging and emailing yesterday on the maths and science work. You are now learning more about Stanley Yelnats and his new camp mates. LOTS of you enjoyed the Kahoot quiz and the top score was 94% which was achieved by Megan, Oliver, Caitlin and Leo. FABULOUS! Let's see what you are learning today...
Below are your tasks for today. Remember if you need to ask any questions go to the class blog and add a comment to 26-6-20 TODAY'S WORK. Keep checking the comments on this BLOG because that is where we will post our replies to you.

ENGLISH
LO: To use appropriate language
Settle down to read or listen to Chapter 7 by following the link on today’s website page. It is a long chapter as it’s Stanley’s long first day digging his first hole at Camp Green Lake. Whilst Stanley is digging, the author uses Stanley’s day-dreams as a flashback technique to explain about his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather, Elya Yelnats from Latvia (an Eastern European country).
When you have finished reading or listening, go to the English folder on the Year 6 website page to find information and instructions for today's task. It explains how to write a letter which I want you to blog or email to me.
