Today's Self Care Challenge
Have a go at putting your own socks on.
Can you also get your shoes on the correct feet?
Make sure you put them together tidily when you take them off!
Task 1: Literacy - Read this week's story "The Tadpole's Promise" by Jeanne Willis
Task 2: Creative - Make 5 frogs so you can sing 5 little speckled frogs and make them jump into the pool! You can make the frog any way you would like.
Maybe you could make an origami frog with your grown ups following the link below.
Or you could draw 5 frogs using the link below and cut them out...
When you have 5 frogs... sing this song and make the frogs jump into the pool!
Task 3: Water Play
Take your water tray activities outside in the sunshine.
You could:
- Make Bubble Foam with bubble bath or washing up liquid, food colouring and a hand whisk. Get those hand and arm muscles strengthened by whisking fast to create lots of foam!
- Make your own water fountains with plastic bottles and milk cartons. Ask an adult to help you pierce the plastic bottles with a skewer or other tool. Decide together where to put the holes. Will you make them around the bottom for a sprinkler effect? Or will you make a column of holes for a ladder effect? Use funnels and cups to fill.
