Good morning Year 2, I hope you are all well!
Happy World Book Day!
Every year, on the first Thursday in March, we celebrate World Book Day! It is a special day to celebrate authors and the millions of books from around the world!
Today, I have planned different tasks for you to celebrate the joys of reading, our favourite authors and the many books we have and continue to enjoy reading! I hope you have fun!
If you are at home today, you could dress up as a character from your favourite book for our teams meeting this morning!! It would be lovely to see who you choose and have some fun with your friends! I have a special quiz planned for you, please make sure you log in and join in!
Please continue to work hard and keep in contact for your last couple of days of online learning! Remember to email your work to Year2_Home@st-john.lancs.sch.uk or put it on our school blog.
Maths
L.O. Count vertices on 3D shapes.
Please watch the learn screen below.
Then, I would like you to answer the questions from the worksheets in your red book. You do not need to write out the questions, just answer the questions in the neatest way you can. If you wish to print the worksheets, that is also fine.
Reading
Please listen to the video (on the school videos section of our website) where I will read you chapter 7 of 'The Enchanted Wood'. I hope you enjoy it!
