RE:LO: To explore the Sacrament of Reconciliation.Today we are going to think about the Sacrament of Reconciliation and how we can tell God we are sorry. You should have undergone this Sacrament earlier in the year and hopefully you will get to do it soon. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is when we say sorry for the bad things that we have done. First, you need to read the passage below (page 66 and 67). I would then like you to listen to the song by John Burland ‘Through my Fault’ I have attached it below. Think carefully about the words.Once you have read through those pages and listened to the song, I would like you to write a prayer of sorrow. Below is an example of the prayer we say in church:O my God because you are so good,I am very sorry that I have sinned against you and with the help of your grace I will not sin again. AmenWrite your own prayer to God saying sorry for the bad choices and sins that you have done. Don’t forget to write Amen at the end. |
