Designing and making our own crowns as part of our castle topic!
We had a mysterious egg arrive in Year One as we are learning about new life in Spring! We had fun using our imagination to discuss who it may belong to, how it may have got there and what it may hatch into! We’ve put it in water to help it hatch and find out what creature will appear!
We loved learning about toys from the past as part of our History topic so Year 1 asked their parents and grandparents if they could bring in their toys from when they were little for show and tell. We had an amazing range of toys from various decades and the children did a wonderful job speaking to the class about their toys. Thank you so much to everybody who brought a toy into school, we learnt so many facts.
