You have worked so hard again this week and I am very impressed with you all! Please keep it up for our last week next week before Easter!

Here is your homework to be completed before next Thursday 1st April 2021.

Maths

This week, we have been learning division and using our times tables to solve lots of sums! Please complete the 2, 3, 5 and 10 times table worksheet that I have sent home with you.

English

We have been working REALLY hard to improve our punctuation, presentation and handwriting in class. I would like you to complete the two worksheets with 10 questions that I have sent home with you. Please make sure that your capital letters are TWICE as tall as your smaller letters at the start of your sentences, that your handwriting is beautiful, your spellings are correct and that all your sentences are finished with a full stop sat on the line. Please don't rush this work.

*Please remember to read EVERY DAY!* Reading is so important and is a school requirement. I am checking reading diaries every day for comments from home and team points are awarded for regular reading.

Once you have completed your work, please take a picture of it and send it to my email Year2_Home@st-john.lancs.sch.uk or put it on the school blog. I am keeping a running record of homework completion in my registration book. Children who do not complete their homework in time will be asked to complete it during their lunch hour.

Reading diary book change days are Mondays and Thursdays. Make sure you are ready for a new book on both on these days.
