Well Year 1, you have amazed me this week.
I have really enjoyed seeing everything that you have been doing, from designing, to drawing, to counting, to practising your phonics.
I can't wait to send you more work next week.
Today, of course, I would like you to join Joe Wicks to get you up and energised for the day.
I wonder if your Grown ups have told you all about the rainbows that people are creating and putting in their windows? This is to make people smile as they take their daily exercise or walk their dog.
Some people are also dedicating them to the doctors and nurses who look after us when we are unwell.
I would, therefore like you to make your own rainbows to put in your window. You can make it as simple or fancy as you like, but I would love to see the completed photos!
Also, please would you use the Phase 2-5 tricky word sheet and, in your orange exercise book, write about your week using some of the tricky words. Each time you use one, you could underline it.
The one who uses the most will win a certificate.
Could you also please complete the first 13 questions on the Column addition within 100 (no regrouping). Remember to add the ones first!
If you have time today you could go on the Chester Zoo Facebook Page for a virtual tour of the zoo between 10am and 4pm.
Enjoy the day.
Love Mrs Clough
