Hello Year One,
Half way through the week and so many of you have worked super hard, I am very impressed with everyone's hand writing. Below are your lessons for today, try your best and work hard. Remember if parents are busy working from home you can access education city, phonics play, epic reading to keep busy until they can help you with your work.

English
LO: To create different rhyming strings to a sound heard in the poem.
Read the poem below, see if you can sound out the letters and sounds to read each sentence independently. Once you have read the poem, complete the rhyming string task in you GREEN book.
Phonics
Access Phonics play, you should base your game on Phases 3-5, please also complete in your Phonics 10 minute workout pages 6-7.
Math’s
LO: To compare groups of objects.

Then, I would like you to answer the questions from the worksheets. Please ONLY write the answers to the worksheets, you DO NOT need to copy out the questions/pictures. If you wish to print them, that is also fine. Please do this in your GREEN book.
To help you continue with your fantastic Tens and Ones skills, here is an activity that you can play. Ask a grown up/ parents to say a number and see if you use the Tens and Ones to create the same number. Keep practicing, the link is below.
PSHE
LO: To know what friendship means to you.
First listen to the friendship song below.
Then Deedee has a task for you watch Deedee video and answer the question, when you have done this I would like you to create a friendship flower. In the center draw your face, in each of the petals write down and draw a picture of one of your friends. This can be done in your YELLOW books.
