Good Morning and Happy Thursday Year 1

I was so happy when I got home from school yesterday to receive some videos of you singing.

It really made my night.

If you didn't do it yesterday, please try to do it as I am putting them in the school video area.

They are amazing.

I was also super impressed with your gardens for Mary and your Rosary beads too.

Please keep sending photos of your gardens so I can see your plants growing.

Today I have recorded myself reading Charlie Cook's Favourite Book if you want to listen. It is under here on the class page.

I would like you to go to Education City for more Sharing.

Use the things you learnt yesterday to help you.

It is called, Sharing Thursday 14th May.

Then for your English work I would like you to find your Phase 4 and 5 Blends and clusters page in your pack from school.

Read through the blends and clusters and then in a lined exercise book please write me at least one word with that blend or cluster in. For example, thr- thread, nch- pinch.

There are pictures to help you think of a word but if you can also think of another I will be doubly impressed.

Finally today you can do some more work in your Steppin Out booklet please.

Pages 10,11,12 and 13 will make you think very carefully about how you cross a road safely and how to find a safe route.
