Well here we are...Friday again! That's 2 whole weeks of home learning done and you've been fantastic. Are you missing me yet? I'm certainly missing you but you're making me proud with all your work and your blogs and emails are keeping me going . Here's your work for today, I can't wait to see it.
MATHS AND ENGLISH ANSWERS FROM YESTERDAY
LO - To understand a text.
Today you are going to complete another comprehension from your CGP Year 5 question book. Read the piece on page 4 'An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth' and answer the questions. Would you like to go into space? I wouldn't!
LO - To solve a range of decimal and measurement problems
You have 2 tasks in Maths today! The first one is to get your Inspire Maths Assessment book and turn to page 47. I would like you to complete numbers 1-15. The answers are in the back of the book (I'm really trusting you not to cheat) so when you have finished, get somebody to mark it for you. It is out of 20 because numbers 6-10 carry 2 marks. I would then like you to send me your score by commenting ON MY POST ON THE BLOG. I won't approve the comments so everybody won't be able to see your score, don't worry.
Secondly, I would like you to play on TTRS. There is a tournament between Year 5 and 6 and I'm hoping we will win. I am tracking who has been on and participated in this.
LO - To create a piece of art related to New York
I'm looking forward to this as I'm pretty much leaving it up to you! I would like you to be creative and produce a piece of Art which relates to NYC. It can be of absolutely anything and can be made using anything. If you're feeling really creative, you could turn it into DT and make something if you have the things to do so in your house. There are a few pictures below to maybe give you some ideas but I'm looking forward to seeing yours. Email them to me: firstname.lastname@example.org or put them on the blog under my post.
