English- Please find your KS1 English Comprehension Book. I would like you to read and answer page 11 ‘Tim's Diary’ and page 12 ‘Plum’.

RE- L.O. To know Jesus taught his disciples about forgiving.

Please read the power point below.

The friends of Jesus asked about him about forgiving people who had hurt them. Peter thought it would be good to forgive them 7 times and that would be quite hard to do. Peter was surprised when Jesus told him that you have to keep on forgiving, but he did say that the person who had done wrong should say sorry and really mean it.

Some questions to think about:

  • How do you think Peter felt when he heard what Jesus had to say?
  • How do you feel?
  • How do you make up with others after something has gone wrong?

Talk about forgiving - what do I need to do when someone has hurt me? Recall a time when this has happened to you and on some A4 paper, create a story board about it. Try to include links between the story of Jesus and forgiveness. Below is an example of how to set it out.

Have a wonderful Monday Year 2 laugh

Love, Miss Dewhurst x
