Maths - Making 15.

Click on the video - Subitising to 10.

Get 10 small objects and drop them on the floor. Close your eyes and get your adult to take some away. You look and say how many are left?

Subitise, use your eyes and your brain.

Repeat the activity 5 times.

Now let's make 15 using a part, part whole model.

Draw a part, part whole model in your book or on your whiteboard. Remember 15 goes in the top (whole) circle. 15 is the whole number. Get 15 counters/objects and split them up into two circles (part, part).
