This Class Worship was based on Courage. Tia and Mrs Carlile kindly and very enthusiastically informed us of their fantastic awards evening last night with 2BR. Tia deservedly won the 'Local Hero- Child of Courage' award, Mrs Carlile deservedly won the 'Fundraiser of the Year' award and they both, including children and staff of St John's, won the overall fundraiser award for the 'Jet Set Angel Project'. The children loved every minute and shared their own experiences of when they themselves have shown courage and why it was important.
Year 3 held their first Class Worship in the new school Chapel, and were very respectful when saying their personal prayers.
