MATHS L.O Reasoning with Square and Cube Numbers.
When you multiply a number by itself the answer is called a square number.
This is because when you draw the array of a square number it forms a square.
4 x 4 = 16 or 4² = 16
When you multiply a number 3 times the answer is a cube number.
4 x 4 x 4 =64 or 4³=64
Squares: 1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100,121,144,169,196,225
Cubes: 1,8,27,64,125,216,343,512,729,1000
Today, you are going to use those numbers to answer 10 questions. Click on the PDF document below for your questions. Do the work in your maths book. The answers are on the last page of the document. Once you have done the work check your answers and then try to correct the ones that you have done wrong.
