Good morning Year 6!
It is Wednesday so we have made it to the middle of the week. There's only two more days of home learning after this one! Lots of you sent some excellent work yesterday and I enjoyed reading your super biographies about the amazing Greta Thunberg.
We enjoyed our Teams Meeting for Year 6 Home Learners yesterday so remember to join today at 9.10am.
Let's keep up that brilliant work today!
Today's exercise choices:
1. Go outside for a refreshing walk.
2. Click on the link to Go Noodle and complete 3 of your favourite routines.
3. Click on the link to Joe Wicks to tackle his exercise routine. (He's back on today).
4. Have a go at the Bingo Challenge Mr Steele has put on the main Class Page - this looks fun!
There's some good news today! Our grand total of books read has increased and we are steadily climbing towards our target of 400 books. Well done to Theo B and Dylan for being our top readers yesterday. Aim for 10 - 15 minutes of reading each day and our total will keep growing!
Below are your tasks for today. Remember if you need to ask any questions go to the class blog and add a comment to 3-3-21 TODAY'S WORK. Keep checking the comments on this BLOG because that is where we will post our replies to you.

MATHS L.O Reasoning with Square and Cube Numbers.
When you multiply a number by itself the answer is called a square number.
This is because when you draw the array of a square number it forms a square.
4 x 4 = 16 or 4² = 16
When you multiply a number 3 times the answer is a cube number.
4 x 4 x 4 =64 or 4³=64
Today, you are going to use those numbers to answer 10 questions. Click on the PDF document below for your questions. Do the work in your maths book. The answers are on the last page of the document. Once you have done the work check your answers and then try to correct the ones that you have done wrong.
L.O What nourishes and what spoils friendship.
Today we are starting a new RE topic. We are going to start by looking at the importance of friendship. I have talked through this lesson on TEAMS this morning so you should all know what to do.
