It's Thursday already, keep up the amazing work! Keep having fun and stay active! Today's Maths task is on the white rose website, Enjoy! Remember to blog or email me when you have completed a task! Task 1: English

LO: To complete a reading comprehension

From the KS2 English Comprehension Year 4 Targeted Question Book in your folders, complete GRRRR Comprehension activity on pages 8-9. Don’t forget the put the Date at the top of the page.  Please read through the text carefully and keep going back to the text after you have read each question! The answers are in the text! 
You may want to draw me a picture of what you think this performance poem is all about (if there was a picture to go with this poem what would it be) when you have done you can email/blog your master pieces! Good Luck and well done everyone!

Complete lesson 1: Summer Term - Week 1 (w/c 20 April, (remember click on the right pink week tab), watch the video lesson, then click on the activity. You can either print of the work sheet and complete the work, or copy the answers into your exercise book. After you can check your answers with an adult clicking on the answers sheet! BUT NO CHEATING! Enjoy!

LO: To understand Peter's Message and The Coming of the Holy Spirit

Read the PowerPoint and watch the video below to understand Peter's Message after Jesus' death and the miracle of how the Holy Spirit came to the apostles.

From what you have learnt for the PowerPoint and Video, answer these questions into you exercise book the best you can. Remember to put the date and LO and use your best handwriting. 

  1. What happened to the friends of Jesus?
  2. How would this help people to spread the Good News?
  3. How would you have felt on hearing Peter’s message?
  4. What reaction did the people have who heard Peter speak?
  5. What effect did it have on their lives?
  6. How does the power of the Holy Spirit change people’s lives?
  7. How could you be bearers of Good News in school or at home?
Illustrate and draw in a way of your choice for example: write, draw, use drama or ICT etc, what this scripture passage tells us about what Christians believe about the power of the Holy Spirit. There is no right or wrong answer, you are explaining in any way how this makes us feel about the Holy Spirit.
