Maths- L.O. Measure length (cm)

Click on the link below, then click Summer Term Week 1 and watch the clip ‘Lesson 3- Measure length (cm)’.

https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/

Then I would like you to click ‘Get the activity’ next to the clip. If you have a printer, please print the activity sheets and complete them. If not, put the short date and objective in your red maths book and work your way through the questions. Please don't feel like you have to copy out the questions, just writing/drawing the answers is fine. I can match your answers up to the questions. smiley

English- To design and label a disgusting sandwich.

Please listen to the story below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9fHpdswfYY

Today, on A4 paper (landscape), I would like you to write and underline the date and L.O. at the top, then design and label your very own disgusting sandwich. Be creative with your ingredients and your adjectives! Remember to draw, colour and label very neatly. Below is an example picture from the story.

Please blog or email me a picture of your disgusting creation. I’d love to see it!cheeky

RE- L.O. To know God’s rule for His people.

There are rules for the road. We may have rules about who and how someone plays with our belongings. God has a rule to help us live well with ourselves and each other.

Read the text below and think about what it means.

Key questions to think about:

What words do you like the best and why?

Which things are hardest and why?

What does St Paul say is important?

Activity

In your green book, put the date and L.O. at the top. Then, I would like you to draw and colour a person and name them (it might be somebody that you know!) Add labels to your drawing with the most important words/attributes for a good person, giving reasons why these attributes are important.

Have a lovely Tuesday! Please keep in touch via email or blog!

Love, Miss Dewhurst x
