Maths:

LO: To measure capacity.

Today your Maths is looking at measuring capacity. Capacity is the amount of liquid something can hold.

Follow the link below to access today’s video. Watch the video carefully, just like you would listen to me at the beginning of a lesson and then complete the worksheet I have attached below. You can either print it out or copy your answers into your workbooks.

Measure capacity

This is "Year 3 - Week 11 - Lesson 4 - Measure capacity" by White Rose Maths on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

English:

LO:  To  spell words with common suffixes:  ly, ful, less, er, able.

Today you are going to look at suffixes, these come at the ends of words.

Log onto Education City and find the classwork named: Thursday 9th  July – English.

Work your way through the Learn Screen, Activity and then worksheet.

Remember – I can see who has been on and completed the activities so make sure you do it!

Music:

Hello Year 3! Welcome to your music lesson for this week. Today, we are going to visit Australia! You need to watch the YouTube clip below where you can listen to a traditional Australian musical instrument. It is called the didgeridoo! Yes, the didgeridoo! When you have watched the clip, open the power point to read your task for today.

What is a Didgeridoo?

In this video Sanshi answers the question "what is a didgeridoo?" (aka didjeridu) and also demonstrates how a didgeridoo is played so you can hear what it so...
