English- To plan a persuasive text.
We are going to plan our persuasive advert for our own ice cream!
In your green book, please answer the following questions. You will need to be creative and think outside the box. Tomorrow, we will write it up in best like a real advert!
What is the name of your Ice cream?
Can you think of a question to ask if people have experienced anything like it before?
Example: Are you ready to taste the most delicious and quirky ice cream of your life? Then look no further, this is a real treat for you!
What flavours does your ice cream have?
Where can you buy it?
How much is it?
What is your special offer?
Example: Buy two and get the third one free!
Who has tasted your product and what have they said about it?
Example: Ellie (aged 7) said "This is the most scrumptious ice cream I've ever tasted! The best bit is when the rainbow drops melt and leave different colours on your tongue!"
Can you think of a slogan or message to get people to try your ice cream?
Science- Design your own salad
On some plain paper, I would like you to design and label your own healthy salad.
It could have meat, mixed lettuce leaves or have a rainbow of colour with different fruits and vegetables.
Think carefully about your choices of food- do you know how the different foods are good for you? What vitamins they have and how they are good for your body?
Then I would like you to answer the following questions on the back of your sheet:
Have a lovely day Year 2!
Love, Miss Dewhurst x
