Eco Week

WOW! Year 6 children have been fabulous during Eco Week. We have been extremely busy being Eco Champions and thinking about how to keep our world and ourselves healthy. Firstly, we have saved energy by switching lights and computers off when not needed. Also we have been careful not to waste water at the sink and realised that taking a shower instead of a bath saves a lot of water. In addition, we made a 'Bug Motel' to increase biodiversity in the school garden. In order to increase our own health we walked and exercised more and designed a healthy packed lunch. Thank you to all families for sending in recycling items to reuse on our Trashion Show outfit - we won the KS2 prize for the best outfit! Have a look at our terrific photos!
