Year 2 used 2paint to create a beautiful picture of the Baptism of Jesus. Mrs Carlile was so impressed with these that they are now all around our classroom door to welcome people into our class.
Year 2 used 2paint to design their own modern day Baptism pictures. They show the signs and symbols of a Baptism.

Our new RE Topic is about Signs and Symbols. We went out to the front of school to look at all the signs around us and what they mean.
The children were very prayerful and respectful in the chapel during our class worship. They read some very special prayers that they had written all about God's Wonderful World.
GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD
Year 2 have been looking at God's wonderful world. They looked at the bible story from Genesis about how God created the world in 7 days. They created their own storyboards about this. They also looked at some scripture from the book of Psalms about how amazing God's world is. They wrote some fantastic responses to the following questions.
