In order to provide children with a calm and enjoyable start to the school day the main gates will open 10mins before the school bell rings. 

Main school gates open at 8.45am. A member of SLT and other staff will be there to greet the children and speak to parents. Before this time parents must supervise their children on the school grounds.

The school bell will ring at 8.55am to mark the start of the compulsory school day. At this time the main gates will close and any children who arrive after this time must enter through the main office door and sign in at reception. Registration will start at this time. 

The school bell will ring at 1.15pm to mark the start of the afternoon session. This will being with registration

The school bell will ring at 3.15pm to mark the end of the compulsory school day. Each class will be dismissed from designated external doors and parents are asked to collect them from these points. This also gives parents the chance to speak to the class teachers. 

Reception and Year 1 - Ramp to Reception and Year 1 classroom 

Year 2 - Main hall doors

Year 3 - Hall doors in the alleyway

Year 4 - Main school yard near double doors

Year 5 - Main school yard near the ramp

Year 6 - Main school yard near the double doors

Children in upper KS2 are are allowed to walk home on their own with parental permission.

TOTAL HOURS PROVIDED IN A TYPICAL WEEK 31HRS 40MINS PLUS AN ADDITIONAL 50MINS SUPERVISION (SOFT OPENING 8.45AM-8.55AM)

Nursery 

Nursery hours are different from the main school hours. Nursery enter and leave from the Nursery doors that are at the front of the school. 

Morning Session

Nursery door open 8.45am

collection by 11.45am for children doing mornings only.

Afternoon Session

Finishes at 3.15pm

Nursery door open from 3.00pm
