Hello my lovely Year Ones, 

What a busy we have had learning all about wonderful Zog and the things he learnt at school, exploring shapes and their properties and even looking at the celebration of Lent. 

On Monday we will be taking part in our charity event the Bunny Hop. PLease can you make sure that you all bring a coat into school. Also remember to ask lots of grown ups in your family to sponsor you. We are hoping to raise lots of money for a lovely charity Pendleside Hospice. 

Please send in your sponsor money next week, there will be a bucket at the Blue gates or with Miss Armstrong/ Miss Dewhurt to collect your donations. 

This week I have set you a piece of English and Math's please also continue to read your reading books as you are all becoming super readers! I will be setting new spellings on Monday. Well done to all of you for trying your best this week in spellings.

This week Zog has made a Fiery Dragon Jelly, can you read the instructions of how to make this and answer the questions. Remember to answer in full sentences just like you would in class. I don't want to see one word answers please try your best to answer the questions. 

Maths

This week I would like you to continue to practice the skills we have learnt this week in class looking at shape. There are two worksheets to complete, please try your best with both.
