Autumn 1
In PSHE we have been looking at how we can help the Syrian Refugees. We talked about how hard it must be to have to leave your country and belongings and go to another country. When discussing this topic, we remember and follow the Gospel Values that Jesus taught us. we know that Jesus would not turn away boats full of people who were in need of food, water, warmth and a safe place to shelter.
The children looked at using their English skills to write sentences to explain what people could expect if they came to Padiham for the first time.

Today we all dressed up as who we would like to be when we grow up. Here are the photos...we tried really hard to be sensible on them but we didn't always manage it! We raised money for CAFOD and the Syrian Refugees today by selling cakes. Well done Year 2.
