Good morning my lovely bunch! Yesterday was another great day of home learning. I know a lot of you are finding it difficult and want to get back to normal but keep going and keep smiling. I’m glad you enjoyed the reading and research on VE Day. Here are your lessons for today:

LO – To understand the meaning of words

Re-read the article from yesterday. There were many difficult words that you may have been unsure of so today we are going to look at them in more detail. Today you may need a dictionary but if you don’t have one you can look up the words online. Complete the questions below in your books and send me your work via email or the blog. I’ve also uploaded the answers below so you can let me know how you did.

LO – To divide with remainders.

Today we will be carrying on with dividing with remainders. Today’s questions are similar so you may want to re-watch the video from yesterday to help you. Your questions (4a-8b) are below for you to complete in your books. I have attached the answers in a word document below so you can mark them afterwards and send me your score and work via email or the blog.

LO – To express like or dislike for food.

This week we are going to revise how we express like and dislikes. Read the information on the PowerPoint and then complete the diagram. Remember to enable editing on your PowerPoint so you can hear the audio - you have some phrases to listen and repeat! I have also put the PowerPoint below if you are having trouble opening it.
