Well done for your first week back, you have worked really hard and some produced brilliant work!

Here is your homework to be completed before next Friday 13th November 2020.

Maths

This week, we have been learning how to regroup the ones in column addition sums. Please could you complete the sums on the worksheet that I sent home with you. Remember to regroup the ones under the tens column. 

English

We have also been learning how to use commas in a list. Please could you complete the worksheet that I sent home with you, putting the commas and an 'and' in the right place. Remember to write neatly with clear capital letters and full stops.

Once you have completed your worksheets, please take a picture of them and put them on the school blog or send them to my email Year2_Home@st-john.lancs.sch.uk so that I can tick you off in my register.

Please make sure you bring your reading diary and book in on BOTH of these days each week, ready for a new book!

We would like you to be reading 2 whole school books a week so that you are practicing your reading and phonics regularly at home.
