History
WWII Evacuation
Year 6 children had a fabulous day in role as a WWII evacuee. First of all, they were greeted by the Billeting Officer who efficiently sorted them into their new host families. Then, they took part in traditional Scripture and Mental Arithmetic lessons in the morning and after lunch they enjoyed different activities such as tricky sewing, useful first aid and essential drill practice. We also enjoyed eating cookies and cakes made from traditional WWII recipes. Many thanks to all parents and families for providing their super outfits and delicious baking.
A great day was had by all!
