Hello and welcome to Year 5 page.
Our dedicated team are:
Mrs Groves- Class teacher on Monday and Tuesday
Mrs Byrom- Class teacher on Wednesday to Friday
Mrs Howley- Teaching assistant and French teacher
Mr Kelly- P.E. teacher for one lesson a week.
Mr Bell - Music and Glockenspiel teacher.
Here in year five we continue to uphold our school mission statement of 'Love on another' and seek to become independent learners, growing more able to organise ourselves.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE CHALLENGE?
Can you organise your own bag, clothes, homework, reading? When will you start, if you haven't already?
We made a rosary as a class with prayers for each other on it.
These three dimensional models of flowers for Science taught us all about the different parts of a flower and their functions.
Hogwart Howlers!!! Ask your child to perform their howl for you, it will put you straight! These are the howler deliverers they made.

As part of our 'Gallery of Smiles' event we have organised a sponsored silence. Sshh!
Here are our Cleft Pallete SMILE pictures. I bet they bring a smile to your face too!!
We also did a sponsored silence for a whole afternoon as we drew these wonderful cartoons of ourselves.
So far, we are proud to announce that we have raised nearly £200
with this sponsored event.

Here we are at Tescos, having a fantastic time and seeing what it's like behind the scenes! Such fun!
Our Blessed Trinity Taster day was SUPERB. We came home with free Tshits and a loaded up pencil case! Noah, Jaden, Jessie G and Kirsty were all given medals for being outstanding!
Now there are some five star Bug Hotels in our river garden, curtesy of Year 5 Developers.
