Good Morning Year 1

Happy Thursday

 

After Joe or a Go Noodle this morning we have some work to do!

 

You will find on Education City a piece of work called, Comprehension Thursday 21st May.

You will need to listen, read and understand the first story and in the second you will be comparing the writing.

 

Then we are going back to Number in Maths.

It too is Education City and is called, Numbers to 100 Thursday 21st May.

There is number ordering both forwards and backwards and missing numbers and number signs to work out.

Think carefully and remember to always check your answer to see if it works!

 

Finally today I want you to think about when Jesus left his friends and went to Heaven to be with His Father.

Today is Ascension Thursday.

We remember Jesus going to Heaven today. He left his friends. They were scared. But He left them a Friend. The Holy Spirit. Here is the story. Please follow this link and watch the story and then draw me a picture of Jesus . Draw his friends and, like you did last time, give them some thought bubbles and write in what they were thinking.
