Good morning Year 6!

It is Wednesday so we have made it to the middle of the week. Where I live, winter definitely was the king of showmen, yesterday morning! Did anyone have enough snow to build a snowman or go sledging? Lots of you sent some excellent work in on translation in maths and possessive apostrophes in English. Well done!

Today is our first Teams Meeting for Year 6 Home Learners. Make sure you are up bright and early and ready to log in at 9.10am. Watch the clip on how to log in to Teams on the school videos page of our website. You will need your Microsoft email address and password.

Maths Topic- Integers and Decimals

L.O Understanding how the digits in a number indicate it’s structure.

This simply means you will be looking at the value of each digit in large numbers using place value charts and place value counters.

Just remember to use your place value headings and you will be fine. The slides below will help you.

RE- The New Testament

L.O The miracles of Jesus

Last week we looked at a great story from the Old Testament called Jonah and the Whale. Today we are going to look at the New Testament and the miracles Jesus performed. 

Part 1 - Click on the video link and watch the video that will explain the task. 

Part 2- Open the PDF with the list of 37 miracles that Jesus performed in order that they appear in the Bible.
