Our adventure story this half term is called 'The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark'. Please listen to the video below where I will read you the first chapter of the book. Then, I would like you to put the date and L.O. into your lined book and copy out the sentences from the worksheet below in your best handwriting, filling in the missing words.

Being happy is important for our health. Having good relationships, being positive and feeling free from worry is important. We need to take care of our bodies and our minds.

I would like you to think about things that make you happy. Are they your family, pets, homes, hobbies, places, holidays, friends or toys?

Please see the worksheet below. I would like you to draw a picture of yourself in your book and answer the questions from the worksheet around your drawing. If you want to print the sheet, that is also fine.
