Reception

Welcome to Reception

The Reception's friendly team consists of Mrs Collins,

Miss Barnes and Mrs Barker.

The foundation stage consists of 3 'Prime' areas of learning.  Which are:  Personal, Social and Emotional development, Communication and Language and Physical Development.  There are also 4 'Specific' areas of learning: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.

In the Foundation stage, we learn through planned play activities and self-initiated activities.  This is to ensure the children have fun, learn basic skills, communicate with others and become independent.
