Numbers to 10 million
Playing Raindrop Place Value, Miss Armstrong asked us to work together with our partners to recognise the value of numbers. We took it in turns with our partners to write a 6 digit number on a whiteboard and collect the right amount of counters for each place value. We then had to tell each other the value of the digits in the correct place value column.
We had so much fun working together and helping each other to achieve great knowledge of place value.
Fun Friday Maths
Creating 3D shapes using spaghetti and marshmallows!
We made a range of shapes including triangle based pyramids, square based pyramids, cubes and cuboids, cones and triangular prisms.
