Beat the Street Kick Off Event, taking place on Sunday 18th May at in and around Offshoots Community Garden, Towneley from 9am.
The event promises to be a fantastic day, packed with family-friendly activities including hedgehog crafting, bread making, and a chance to meet Beattie the Beat the Street mascot. There will also be information and opportunity to join in with some ParkPlay games and activities and more!
As part of the day, we’ll also be holding a Big Beat the Street Walk around Towneley Park, where families can explore the park, find and swipe Beat.
It would be wonderful to see as many of our families as possible there!

For more updates and information, please follow the Beat the Street Facebook page.
Thank you very much for your support, and we hope to see you and your family at the event!
From the 14th May - 25th June. Children will be receiving their packs soon! This contains clear, step-by-step instructions for registering.
Changes this year:
Cards will NOT be pre-registered to schools this year.
There are a few key reasons for this change:
We know this isn’t ideal for everyone, but please reassure that children can still use their cards — they will still beep and flash when swiped, encouraging them to get active and move more. However, you MUST register your cards if you want to see their points allocated to a team (whether school or community).
To support families, there will be community venues across the town, including libraries, CVS centres and others, where people can get help with registering.
Thank you as always for your support — it really makes a difference!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
