• VALENTINE’S DISCO

  Don’t forget. On Thursday it’s time to get yourself dressed up for our Valentine’s Disco. Time: 6.15pm-7.45pm. KS1 children must be accompanied by an adult. Please remember this is a disco for St John’s pupils only. As it is a school event, children are not allowed mobile phones for safeguarding reasons. Pay on the door and refreshments are available. We look forward to seeing you there. 

• Speedstacking Skills Event

  On Tuesday 3rd February, St Peter's Centre hosted an exciting Speedstacking Skills Festival, showcasing the talents of young athletes from our primary school. Among the participants were Pippa, Arianna, Harrison, and Alfie, who demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and resilience throughout the event.

  The festival was a fantastic opportunity for students to engage in friendly competition while honing their speed stacking skills. Pippa and Arianna impressed everyone with their quick hands and strategic stacking techniques, while Harrison and Alfie showed remarkable determination, pushing through challenges with a positive attitude.

  Overall, the event was a resounding success, fostering teamwork and camaraderie among all participants. We are proud of our students for their outstanding performances and look forward to seeing their continued growth in future events!

  

• Year 5 and 6 Sports Hall Athletics Qualifier

  We are thrilled to announce the outstanding performance of our Year 5 and 6 students at the Sports Hall Athletics Qualifier held on 28th January. Our talented athletes, Arlie, Henry, Zac, Toby, Max, Colby, Felicity, Harriet, Martha, Ella, Elsie, and Eryn, showcased their skills and determination throughout the event.

  The competition was filled with energy as our students participated in various events, including: Obstacle Relays: Demonstrating teamwork and agility. Sprinting Races: Showcasing speed and competitive spirit. Jumping Events: Displaying impressive technique and strength. Throwing Events: Highlighting precision and power.

  Our athletes not only performed exceptionally well but also exhibited remarkable sportsmanship. Their positive attitude and encouragement towards one another were commendable, making us proud to be part of such a supportive school community. Congratulations to Our Athletes! Their efforts have truly made our school proud, and we look forward to seeing you continue to excel in future competitions.

• KS2 Football Team Shines at Harley Cup Matches

  We are thrilled to announce the outstanding performance of our KS2 football team at the recent Harley Cup matches held at Hameldon Community College's 4G pitches on Thursday, 13th January.

  Our talented players, Roman, Henry, Zac, Luke, Spencer, Seth, and Hailey, showcased remarkable teamwork and skill throughout the matches. A special mention goes to Hailey, who not only represented our school as the only girl on the team but also stood out as a Year 5 player. Her determination and talent were truly inspiring, and she played a pivotal role in the team's success.

  The dedication and sportsmanship displayed by all team members were commendable, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements. Congratulations to our KS2 football team for making us proud and for their fantastic efforts in the tournament!
