  Well done to all of our prize day winners from this morning. Thank you to all their families for joining us and helping us celebrate their achievements.  Afterwards, the whole school were treated to a visit from an ice cream van to reward all the children for their efforts over the past school year. 

  

• Lancashire Cricket Finals in Liverpool

  Well done to Theo, William, Kian, Jenson, Darcy W, Lacey, Jack and Milo for reaching the Lancashire Cricket Finals. They travelled together by coach to compete in this event at the Northern Cricket Club in Liverpool. They made everyone at St Johns extremely proud, well done team!

  Today we held our wonderful yearly tradition of St John's Pupil of the Year. It was a lovely celebration of our nominees and was lovely to be joined by their families. The nominees are;

• SJB Fun Week 24

  The children at St Johns had a fabulous fun SJB week last week. On Monday, we had our St John the Baptist feast day mass in church with Father Joseph. Also, on Monday we danced and 'worked out' in ZUMBA workshops run by Jess. On Tuesday, was our Sports Day, thank you to all who were involved, the children had an amazing day! On Wednesday, the children showed off more talents in the Summer Music Concert. On Thursday, everyone took part in Martial Arts and Self Defence workshops run by Burnley Martial Arts Club. We ended the week with our amazing Talent show. Thank you to everyone who attended these events, the children were fantastic and made St Johns proud! • Swimming Gala @ St Peters Leisure Centre

  Darcey, Lacey, Kian, Jaymieleigh, Jack, Riley, Ellie, Kai, Oliver, Phoebe and Owen made St John's extremely proud on Friday. They competed against 10 other school in this years swimming gala and came 3rd overall! What an achievement, well done! 

  

• St John's Hartley Cup Success!

  We at St Johns are extremely proud of the success we had in this years Hartley cup tournament. After 6 competitive games they topped their group ready for the semi-finals. They worked as a team to win their way to the final! Well done to Kian, Joshua, Jack, Milo, Tom, William, Jenson, Shay, Theo and Alfie!
