One of our Year 2 pupils recently wrote a letter to Lidl expressing his concerns about the amount of plastic being used for the fruit and vegetables. He received an email back thanking him for his letter and saying they will look further into this. Well done for a brilliant idea and a very well written letter!
Well done to the children who attended the Tag Rugby event on Monday 25th March at Prairie Sport Village. The children took part in a carousel of rugby skills stations and then played small sided coached games. This event gave them opportunities to learn, practice and develop many skills. They developed their confidence and competence within physical activity and sports skills while building social skills and positive experiences. They showed fantastic determination and team work, well done!
Well done to the children who attended this event on Wednesday 20th March at Towneley Park. They took part in various team building and OAA themed activities followed by a basic Orienteering course.
The children adapted to the competitive environment to support their individual development in sport. They showed great team work and determination. The children said: 'It was a muddy but fun morning!'
Year 2 had a wonderful morning recreating the Great Fire of London. They had great fun creating Pudding Lane and trying to put the fire out! More pictures and videos can be found on our class page.
