As Ash Wednesday fell during the half term break, Fr Joseph came in to school this morning to give the children and staff their ashes.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Valentine's Disco last night. The children had a wonderful time. Thanks to all your support, the PTFA managed to raise over £400 which will go towards providing additional future experiences for the children.
Nursery, Year 1 and Year 4 made beautiful artwork and cards for Father Joseph to take to our parishioners who are unwell or need prayers. The children wrote lovely, heart felt messages to spread love and a bit of happiness during their time of need.
On Tuesday, Choir went to Manchester Arena to take part in Young Voices 2024. We had a wonderful time, it was amazing to be a part of such a huge event and sing along with lots of other schools. We thoroughly enjoyed singing the wide range of genres and also loved the performances from musicians and dancers. The children behaved beautifully throughout were an asset to our school!
We are looking forward to watching the concert back at our first Choir rehearsal after February Half Term. If you want to purchase the video - here is the link https://yv24film.co.uk/ Make sure you select the concert date 06.02.24
Here is a picture of us all waiting for the concert to start!
Well done Choir, I am so proud of you all.
